Well folks the last game of the season and we travel to boldmere on a very sunny Sunday…

Boldmere needed the win to secure the title and the boys were in no mood to just hand it to them, we started brightly and was creating chance after chance with young dec having his own little battle with the boldmere keeper and there was only going to be I winner ha ha….

Every one that played, played with heart and as a team…

Boldmere took the lead midway into the 1^st half with a shot from about 25 yards out and it was a screamer ,there crowd where going crazy and with good reason …as they were going to win the league…..but the boys had other ideas……

I would not be going over the top if I said that the lads should have been 4 or 5 up but lady luck was not on our side…Connor burst into the boldmere box and was tripped  up pen. To sporting….young David stepped up and placed it in the corner sending the keeper the wrong way but manged to hit the post the rebound was picked up by Sean b and he managed to get a cross in where Dec knocked the ball into the boldmere net  1.1 and no more than sporting deserved…

And if you listen carefully you can hear someone in the distance saying “hey ref how’s long left”

That is the best the lads have played for a long time and proves we can go a long way in winning the league next season….

Mom went to the whole team as they all played there part….

Kevin and Daniel would like to tell all the lads how proud we are of them and say a big thanks to all the parents who give up there Saturday and Sunday morning to bring the kids along….thanks to Colin for running the line  for the season ….thanks to Emma for the hot drinks on an away game. Thanks to al Whyte for the sponsorship and kim for being the parent rep….and sarah for doing all the paperwork on a matchday and for putting up the respect barrier
